Nano-Light is best combo, even though Rose is best girl.
Must be fun to actually get to use your one-shot ability infinitely.
The dragon be like
My body (gut instinct) is telling me NO
But my (monke) mind, my monkeeeeeee.

Usually the low int characters trust their instinct, this might be the first one I've seen who ignore it.
*lizard brain

He rolled an int check, whether it was nat 1 or 20, his brain told him to go for it.

Oddly enough most low int characters have decent wis stats which prevents them from being completely useless. This guy probably had low int AND wis. IN D&D terms he failed the insight check, then failed the int check, then rolled a nat 1 on the wis check

If you can resurrect people, the definition of being late is much later than otherwise.

If that's a prized sword, you got ripped off.

"Backing off now would mean I'm afraid of this runt."
And not backing off means you got baited.

Pride over instinct. And you know what comes after pride.

While most resurrection abilities are already incredibe, Lich's variant is even more so. Not only does he bring back the dead, he only needs a small portion of the body to bring them back in full, and can do so centuries after their dead and buried.

And yet there has to be some rather heavy restrictions in place, otherwise he could in a real sense make a clone army, or if true souls are a thing, infinite biological materials.

I mean the most ridiculous part about it is that it automatically triggers on him after he's killed. The only way to actually take care of him is to seal him away, still alive.

Kinda, but not really. I mean he would be more powerful if he had offencive capabilities, but his only party tricks are healing and resurrection. So while true he is an absolute beast in a team, his usefulness goes down once separated.

The strongest combo. It's just cheating to have a sure-kill skill together with auto-resurrect infinite loop.

given that trick surprised they just dont load em with reuseable "bombs" as the anti capture tool. hard to take em home in a soup can when healer soup is all over the ground with no clear tell which puddle he will reform from. killing the foe in the process is a bonus. imagine if they further weaponized his self rez, cursed item that gives a massive powerup but kills its user after? no prob. need to feed the army? hey its all you can eat buffet just leave the head and bones so he can rez like thors goats. need an infiltration job? paste the healer on a rock and throw it into the enemy base, during the chaos he can rez and hide somewhere.

But if he doesn't go in they're gonna call him a bitch, and he can't allow that because it reflects on his boss.

Seems like he just needs to know who he's resurrecting, reviving Aria and her generals didn't revive any cannon fodder or enemy troops, just named individuals. So too late, would be showing up to a village massacre where he doesn't know anybody there, and all traces have been burned away, so he doesn't even know how many he's trying to revive.

Except Licht didn't know who he was resurrecting when he brought back Aria and her generals. His only thought was that there should be someone powerful in the bottom on the dungeon and didn't care who would be risen. And I've always found it strange that only the five of them were revived.
