I understand theyre still kids, being shy etc but Im afraid the author is going to make Yukihara the losing heroine, looking at their dynamic here and a few chapters before, which I dont like because pretty much confirmed that Yukihara also has feelings for him. And I just never been a fan of losing heroine getting heartbroken, just sadddd mannn. I think Arima x Yukihara can work if both of them can start to appreciate a silentness, peacefulness when being together, yknow . . . Moment when youre not talkin but still feeling at ease and calm, not awkward.

I don't get why people are hating on MC. Him ending up with Miyahara is inevitable, that's just how these kinds of manga go, but nowhere in what we've seen so far has MC abandoned his love for Yukihira.

He purposefully left his umbrella at home knowing that Yukihira would offer him hers, hence "abusing her kindness" to get closer to her. But then as they were walking home, he noticed she was getting caught by the rain. He tried covering her, but she rejected it under the premise that since they're under the same umbrella, they should share it equally.
He felt guilty because, had he brought his umbrella with him, Yukihira wouldn't have to get drenched at all! And so he bolted away.

TL;DR
MC didn't give Yukihira the cold shoulder.
MC ran so Yukihira wouldn't have a cold shoulder! (ba dum tss)

MC is not intelligent or smart enough to play a board game. He has severe case of idiot.

Called it again. See, this time he shoots himself in the foot once the plan is actually going smoothly. He just can't make a move on Yukihira without flubbing anything; this time he choked. Ran from her just as he almost executed the plan to the end and that probably sent her the wrong message.

He makes this scheme to get closer to his crush, then second-guesses himself if he's not abusing her kindness like his plan didn't absolutely hinge on taking advantage of her kindness by sharing her umbrella with him. So he realized it wasn't such a nice thing to do, but it really had to happen with the worst timing.

Just don't tell me Yukihira is also falling for him because it's beginning to look like it. It's only going to hurt even though I prefer her over Miyahara.

One of the rare few chapters that Yukihira gets to shine with enough screentime and yet it's always with the flaky protagonist failing or self-sabotaging. C'mon man, get your act together.

Think its a case of tye author wanting their cake and eating it. Most of her actions have been wingman based but suddenly we are getting pretty explicit her liking him clues.
