Wow. What a play, seriously hope more seasons will happen, I really really need to see/hear this in anime form, I'll cry.
Shinobu got what she wanted though, finally found her rival. I'm so glad for both of them, and I hope all those sexist dudes in the federation can now see how serious and amazing those young women are. And so that they can really push their sport to a professional level.

Also, now more than ever I'm thinking that both Arata and Taichi will tell Suou that he doesn't have to give up, he should win and both can challenge him again, and he doesn't have to stop playing the karuta he loves and he can still be the Meijin, at least for while.

Anyway, what good chapter again maan, thanks for the translation!

I am so glad for Chihaya, seriously, I teared up a bit bc this is what this story is about, I am so glad she got stronger and paired up with Shinobu .
I loved Chitose x Taichi interaction, I liked how she was telling him to stop ignoring what he should be doing. Then it shows how Chihaya's winning card was the one she relates to Taichi, so many feels!!!!

I am not sure if this means Taichi x Chihaya will be endgame but, I am just glad that for once in Chihaya's journey it wasn't Arata at the very end but Taichi, who stayed beside her throughout those years. I just want ma boi to be happy. Don't care about shippers anymore lol

Thanks for translating!

The author is actually committing to Chitose not watching Chihaya's game.

Ah! Taichi x Chihaya hasn't sink yet! We're still afloat, boys!
I really liked this chapter, I loved the dialogue between Taichi and Chitose. And how Chihaya won with that particular card.
Thanks for the translation!
And now, we wait for the next chapter.

@justmeane I'm with you!

Hell YES! Chihaya gets a win, all of them thinking/saying she's not a genius... since they know the passion that Shinobu stirred in her made her work and study harder to stand alongside her.
