I have a strong feeling from the start that Asuma is actually one of the good guys, just acting to hide it from the actual bad guys or something.

It's absolutely stupid (and hilarious) though, that the two other dudes were just standing there for 10 minutes, watching dude trying to rape her, until they did something to stop him. If they guy wasn't braindead, he would have been inside the girl 9 minutes before that.
