I'd actually agree with you if he did get compensated. It would be cooler to exercise some composure then. He could even say he was just doing his work, so it's nothing much. But he gets nothing. ts is so ass, it started off "fine" until such insanely selfish sides of characters were revealed, and MC is even dumber, he has no reason to stick with her considering he doesn't like her and she doesn't even pay him. Nah it's the simple fact how weird he's been acting over it, I get that one should feel happy when something they created gets praised, but he was literally doing way too much, it got so cringe that I sympathized with Nanako, I wouldn't wanna be seen with someone acting like that either
