No you aren't forgetting anything this time. She's a normal human being. Just like how you called the bear a dog due to its behaviour, it's the same thing here. She also happens to have the word 'inu' in her name which means dog in Japanese. Also

she later gets one of Falga's weapons which she names 'inumaru', and most of her technique names also happens to have the word 'inu' in them

Finally caught up to this. I don't remember why I stopped reading this years ago, either it was lack of updates or boredom, and now I (re)caught up to this after watching some episodes of the anime. It's... an ok read so far.

He's really bad with naming that it's starting to get ridiculous. Can't just slap "Heal (insert gauntlet or move)" every time 🤦‍♂️
