I think S2 of the anime will cover volumes 3-4-5 of the LN. That does the academy city arc where he trains another healing mage, then covers the whole Nea arc. Part of volume 5 is the Captain Rose flashback which the anime already covered, so it should have enough room to fit 3 LN volumes.
