Dale, you know as the king piece on the board, you aren't supposed to move yourself into check.

Seeing Mana's expression change from "I won" into "Oh, fuck" is just too priceless. She's been bombazooled four times by Lunaria since their first encounter, and yet it seems she didn't learn one bit from it.

More like...
Fate always wins. Most of the gods throw dice but Fate play chess, and you don’t find out until too late that he’s been using two queens all along.
And with Lunaria deciding fate and destiny with those choices she is presented with? Yeeeep.

I just realized the manga has different last conflict with the WN.
Not really a spoiler, but the manga approach is more action fantasy rather than the WN which more political conclusion.
Well, I think the manga approach is better, knowin Mana is reincarnator with her obviously cheat, combined with how good the artist draw action scenes. The WN approach is bit boring, it's anti-climactic and Mana only received karma in political side. I saw the raw and still unknown yet if the conlusion will adding part from the WN.

It is the original scenario and all but she is no longer the daughter of a duke like in the game. She is literally the duke herself. You simply can't pull shit like this. Are all the other people simply NPCs bound by the game's logic?

This is a rather huge difference as being the position itself means that a lot of issues they could throw at her would have little to no effect.

The other noble family’s can’t truly condemn Lunaria as then it would instantly get the DUKES family against them with Lunaria being the head, and no matter how powerful the Royals are they can’t just condemn a Duke family because one of the princes thinks he hot sh*t.

I’m imagining that the ones that are acting out against her right now are either fools or like you said have NPC logic engines.

In reality Lunaria won basically the moment she became duke herself

presumably, the story is told from Mana's perspective and Lunarias family basically doesnt appear period, its possible that she does eventually give up on them anyway and uses all the traps shes set to take the title and kick out the trash

she also has made alliances with the other three big ducal families by letting them know about her true identity. So that's four very influential families that suddenly have shared interests to and incentives to support one another (because they're all kinda friends at minimum), and see the threat an unhinged prince and magically-manipulative "fake" saint are to the entire kingdom.

I do think there's only a few "key" players in this part of the narrative, though. The majority of the nobility are little more than peanut gallery that are there to represent "public opinion" between Lunaria and Mana/Dale.
They are basically the "for/against" percentage gauge as the confrontation goes on, and the higher the numbers go for Lunaria's side, the better.

This was licensed and is up to chapter 31 already. Just saying this because of the recent DMCA takedown.
