I wonder about the king. The "there's nothing I can do about this" part.

Am I meant to think that the king would still side with the prince even after all this? So, that he's corrupt?

Or is this simply meant as in: "you're fucked son, good luck"?

Because I wonder. I mean, if the king is there you'd THINK he would not want to make ALL the nobles angry with him. Since there's a very solid case building against his son, right here before all the young nobles of the realm, it seems suicidal to make them all angry.

Fact is, kings tend to fall when all the nobles think they'd be better off without them. And attacking a duchess for no reason is a very good way of making them angry. Cause "if it happened to a duchess it can happen to me as well" is a valid thought

Thank you for the translation!

Our MC could have used her overwhelming power to stamp out the princeling, but instead she use everything in her arsenal to really make him suffer! :)

Yeah, the onlookers are the most confusing party here. I mean one side has a random assortment of students and the other has the commander of the imperial police, the a renowned magic reseacher, and a knowable health teacher. Who'd truly believe the words of some rando students? The only reason anyone would stick with the prince in that situation would be hoping to curry favour with him.
And I think the slow, monthly(?) release schedule bites our asses with this arc. Once it's all done, or if one had the entire volume before them, I'd guess it reads much better.
You can also see that they kinda side with MC, but were silenced by the crown prince soon after.

The king isn't corrupt, but he is heavily biased toward his son.
The manga is quite different from the novel now, but even after the condemnation, the king tries to sweep everything under a rug, have his son being quiet for a while and even try to convince MC to marry him and accept the other girl as mistress.
Well it didn't work because all nobility rally being MC on that one.

So he is one of those idiots that think that just because they are the king they can do anything, completely ignoring the law (which, in a monarchy, is what makes them king).
It's a wonder he didn't get decapitated or something....

Well, he tries, he thought that MC was still a pushover and he could play the sympathy card. He didn't realize MC changed, likes her father and brother at the start.

I genuinely forgot at what chapter in the raw stopped when confronting this bitch who becomes a crazed monster (by that I mean she used the "saints" power and becomes amost indestructable valkyrie that causes destruction and the magical girl pet like partner becomes a crazed beast because of the wench) that the fmc has to borrow the power of he demon lord by infusing it onto her being to beat that bitch's ass. 😔

That's something I always have to kind of remind myself of - the end goal of many a mangaka is to see their work put in volume form.
And I'd argue that's the end goal of how they put each chapter and arc together. There are obviously those that are serialized endlessly and are more episodic and meant to be read like a sitcom, wherein there's plot, but you don't have big overarching narratives and complex events occurring that get jumbled and feel dragged when you have a monthly release of chapters leading up to a completion of a volume.

And this title, unfortunately, would probably read amazingly if it were in your hands in one complete book, rather than being drip-fed like this while it's being created & released to keep the author/artist fed and housed.
And I say this knowing that we're reading this for free here - but it's a mindset that's helped me feel less disappointed with works that I really like, when the release schedule of each chapter makes getting through the story a bit of a slog.
