It might not have been her or the King that said that, but the rest of the Prince's rant condemns him anyway since they were there. Especially the part about how even without other testimonies, he as the Crown Prince can just push the issue through.

As a note, the original main story as an adaptation ended with chapter 33 last month (completely adapting the WN), but this is getting a 2nd part which is completely manga original, with the original author not being involved on it
