sviiseven, I really appreciate you doing even one chapter. I think there's a small niche of us that really love this series and would love it if you continued (if you are able to).

I'm hoping someone translates this, it's very good, and a lot of unknown mangas also get fully translated

Just an update for you all, I am working on the next chapter, now that I have a lot of free time. It's just slow due to the lack of motivation to work on this as well as the troublesome references. I hope to have a chapter out in the coming week!

not without its faults, but this series is super cute and plays into all the tropes and cliches of its associated characters, so i find it pretty endearing. :)

Harem or not, the cast is actually pretty colourful and fun. Pretty enjoyable

Like the prequel, I dunno, there's just something charming about this series. Greater than the sum of its parts.
  • Art and character designs are pretty good. Not too detailed (which I prefer), but has a great balance between cuteness and sexiness (leaning more towards cute), without it being too lewd/fanservicey even in situations where they're topless. I might also be biased since this is the art style I'm going for as an artist.
  • Since most of the main characters have been introduced and most of their character arcs were done in the previous series, the story is now exploring more storylines about the magical rock that's making the figurines alive.
  • As for the humor, tbh like the previous series it can still be hit or miss, particularly if they're referencing things the Japanese will only get, much less info that only Japanese otakus will understand. The translators can sometimes explain them, but if the translators don't understand the reference, they can't explain it to us readers either.
  • For the otaku stuff, it doesn't go too deep like in My Dress-up Darling so it's more accessible to the average reader. I don't care about cosplay, so every time My Dress-up Darling goes deep into cosplay info I lose interest.
  • For the romance/harem aspects, the girls all seem to have an equal chance with getting together with the male MC. Even the newest figurine girl (the tank girl) who joined up late and doesn't have many chapters has a decent chance. I kinda hate that in most harem series (like in Yankee JK KuzuHana-chan) it's obvious which girl will win from the start.

Please tell me. Is this the same oyster as the gory hentai author. Cause I would rather drink bleach than read anything from that sicko.

Pretty sure it's not?? There nothing like that at all in this manga, it's just a comedy with some fun otaku-adjacent stuff and a bit of fairly innocent fan service thrown in.
