this mf thinks a car mechanic could build an engine from scratch
Engineer != mechanic. Engineers often have to often bloody design the very vehicle and vehicle parts they are thinking to implement into something.

How do you think someone improves an airplane or comes up with a new engine design? It is engineer's job to do just that.

Don't try to stand on a hill of arguments wherein you are ignoring the terminology being used by the character themselves. A mechanic repairs and maintains, engineers design and improve. Hell, even then, a mechanic that loves his job could potentially have the know how to design a car from scratch, just lacks the industrial means to do so.

Now, even then, he might still have limitations due to not knowing every detail with the glider. For example, he could have probably lengthened the seat department of the glider, but knowing that it might fudge with the aerodynamics and weight distribution, structural setup and so on, he did not do so. So besides being amusing, he probably had to do a lot of experimenting to get the glider to the current working condition.

Im not gonna read all that
I know the difference
Fact is the mc knowing how to build guns from memory is braindead and we have had these discussions many times before whenever he pulled some new shit out his ass

Man... Impatient that I am I started reading the web novel to see what's ahead, and goddamn, it's absolutely horrendous... The lack of skill and experience of these webnovel writers really show.

So I don't know how the manga adaptation has fared before chapter 50 or so from the novel, and considering it's been ok so far, better than the majority of the isekai trash that pops up, I don't think it'll follow the novel too closely...

The potential for this to turn into a shitshow is still there tho, so one can only hope.
The story is okay, the writting is not. I have a feeling the manga will be a bit better by modifying stuff here and there. For me the novel was enjoyable after ignoring the cringe inducing moments like (spoilers for novel onlys) like Ana's kidnapping and brainwashing. That was cringe af. Also some stupid mistakes by Allen like him letting Ana go alone with some shady looking soldiers. You might think he would be smarter than that but nope, it was too forced.

Preface: this is irrelevant to this chapter but relevant to the manga.

I hope that the bitch Amy isn't MCs sister... (like mobsekai).

Cause unlike Mobsekai sister, this bitch isn't redeemable. (Mobsekai is just a selfish narcissist who wants princess treatment, Amy actually wishes harm on others, and took pleasure in the idea of Ana being gang-r*ped, these are not the same).
No. Mobseka's version of Marie is atrocious but lets face it, all the girls in Mobseka are trash. Hot trash. Some of the worst female characters ever written.

Marie at least was entertaining. NOW if you ask me about the version of Marie from the Mobseka Marie Route or the Marie from Anoseka (spinoff of Mobseka) then boy, that's one of the best female characters ever made.

Amy here... she is just your generic Villainess antagonist except she is a bit psychopath. But don't worry, she will get what she deserves.

anoseka? what's that? is it worth reading?

btw I only like Marie in the marie route XD otherwise she's a bitch... and kinda a whore... although seems like the series backtracked that part, and went to her just using them but not being intimate. (like now she seems annoyed at their affection if anything and just wants to live XD )

As for the other girls.. I find the main two chicks alright... but the lesb-faint thing was kinda annoying. And now I'm woundering if their feelings are romantic or just best friends, it implied the latter, but there's too many jokes about it being the former that the author might go there, so instead of harem MC ends up with poly XD third wheeling two lesbians.

I wouldn't put it past an author to do that... others have done far worse with less hints at anything.

Yeah Anoseka is the spinoff of Mobuseka. It's basically Marie Route with extra content (and hopefully it will be different ahead, because Marie Route is too tragic and the end is f*cking atrocious anyway).

I strongly recommend giving it a try. It's the story of Leon if he joined Marie instead of Olivia and Angie. They fall in love at a great pace while trying to avoid getting involved in the game scenario.

While Marie is kinda annoying in the Mobuseka story she is great here. As I said she's masterfully written (and makes me think why oh why the author did a terrible job at writing female characters in the main novel). She's very relatable, has her own motivations and ambitions. Plus she is the best woman Leon could ever find (yes the alabama route but it's wholesome and cute so far).

About Mobuseka, I agree, the author said how would we turn this into a harem? Making Angie and Olivia be lesbians... yeah the romance feels empty, artificial and forced tbh. The only acceptable heroine is Mylenne the queen and even she is married and with children (author needs psychological help casually slipping in their NTR fetishes here and there, also with Angie and Olivia cheating on Leon etc). That's why I think Marie is also good in this route, because she was written in a way you get to hate her a bit and that was the intention while the other girls simply fail to evoke something other than roll your eyes once they join the harem (they become mindless drones just existing to praise Leon's dick size tbh).

wait what?

what's the ending to marie route? (like please full spoilers, I don't want to finish reading it if it's shit).

Like... Albama route was wholesome and great... I don't want it ruined... WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS!

ahem.

and yeah author needs to remind themselves what harem means. Like would be okayish if it was purely a misunderstanding... but doesn't seem to be the case and they going lez.

Wait the fuck? angie and olivia cheat on leon? like seriously? that fkn ruins this shit... what is with these authors baiting with wholesome and going cuck? can you please give me full details on that, cause Imma drop this hard for that.

Like... you don't add cheating whores to a harem... that's just a hard no no.

Yeah, first of all let me tell you, Japanese authors usually write interesting stories but they suck at ending them.

The Marie Route is fantastic at first but it will become utter sh*t in the third act so here are the spoilers for the last two chapters (which were a special bonus for those who bought the last volume of Mobuseka in Japan only):

So in the last two chapters Marie and Angelica reached the throne room of the castle where Anne Olivia (Olivia being possessed by Anne's spirit that was in the saint artifacts) is facing Leon.

Something that's disappointing is the retcon the author does with the entire plot and characters in the last two chapters. It's like she thought "wait a minute, how come Marie is getting a happy end?" "Hell no, she has to suffer and this isn't harem so it's no good".

So Leon went back to being a hesitant coward little sh*t. He clearly knows Olivia needs to be stopped since a lot of people are dying because of her. The king and Leon's master are dead (they couldn't stop Olivia and she killed them both in a fight). Yet Leon doesn't want to fight or kill Olivia. Let me sincere here, nobody really gives a f*ck about Olivia in this route, the only reason she remains relevant is the Author being a d*mb b*tch obsessed with Olivia. She can't let go of this st*pid character.

Olivia is blackmailing Leon, saying she will kill herself unless Leon becomes her man before Marie appeared. So Marie has to do what Leon can't. She faces Leon and tells him "he should deny other girl's approaches because he is already engaged". Imagine being a male character so f*cking MID needing to have the girl tell him how a real man should act... She forcefully awakens the powers of the Saint within her (it was revealed in case you forgot that Marie and Olivia are both decendants of the first saint Anne. Yes this is the very same Anne currently possessing Olivia. Also to clarify Olivia allowed Anne to possess her because she was tired of people reads the papers not letting her study for the school exams... okay)

Anyway Jilk appears in a mecha to defend Anne Olivia (Yeah Olivia is called Anne Olivia now), Anne Olivia kills him from behind like a mf. Julius appears to defend Anne Olivia, Anne Olivia pretty much leaves him at death's door from behind. Angelica (who is madly in love with Julius even though he basically abandoned her) goes mad and tries to kill Olivia but gets pushed back by her power. Then Marie beats the sh*t out of Olivia (cause Leon is a pos who suddenly became the Leon of Mobuseka that was a lazy coward). Anne's other spirit comes out (cause the first saint Anne divided her spirit in two possessing the saint relics or artifacts with both halves of her spirit) and talks no jutsu the evil Anne possessing Olivia into calming down.

The thing is Anne was in love with Leah (a hero she met in the past along with the founders of the kingdom) who happens to be Leon's ancestor. So the "good" Anne talks the evil Anne into going both of them inside Marie (who is their decendant) because she is in love with Leon and they will get married, evil Anne accepts and everybody happy...

Or so that would have been the more or less good ending but author said, "nah, let's make it worse). So Anne's sister's spirit Mary came out of the saint Artifact, sealed both Annes onto herself and took their power. Marie is fed up and Mary forces them to watch a longass flashback where it's revealed Mary met Leah and fell in love with him first but she was too shy and not as sociable/popular/beautiful as her older sister Anne who blatantly fell in love with Leah. However the other people who founded the kingdom (that is Julius' and the other 4 d*mbasses ancestors) were jealous of Leah and made him fall into a trap where he supposedly died. This made Anne and Mary fall in despair and hate the kingdom promising to have their revenge. However Mary was even angrier so she sweetalked Anne into sealing her soul in the saint artifacts with the hopes to wake up in a world where Leah would be alive. But in fact it was a trap to make Anne suffer for getting between her (Mary) and her beloved Leah back when "he was alive". Sealing Anne's soul while her (still breathing body) would be sold to some rich aristocrats that will r*pe and humilliate her. Anne didn't know the whole time.

So back after the flashback Marie and the others fight Mary again and barely beat her. Everybody think it's over but the alliance of nobles are still fighting outside the royal forces of Olivia.

Then suddenly Leon is shot by somebody in front of Marie who falls in despair trying to heal him with the last of her powers. Marie looks around but everybody pretends they are innocent. Then Luxion reveals himself, claiming he did it because Leon is no good by being friendly to new humans who must be eliminated. He lost the contract with Leon thanks to (accidentally) fighting Anne Olivia days prior. He takes everything and flies away into his main body (spaceship) to keep annihilating the new humans.

Marie begs Olivia to help her heal Leon who's with one foot in the grave because she almost has no magic left. However before she could do anything, Arroganz appears (maybe you forgot but Arroganz has a new AI Luxion left before going away on his own around halfway in the story). Marie covers the dying Leon with her body ready to be killed by Arroganz (both Leon and Marie basically raised this AI like their own child, yes Arroganz is also the name of this new AI and it started with the mindset of a kid but it grew up as it was learning more). However this Arroganz wasn't under Luxion's control and took everybody to Partner (Leon's ship), healed him and went into hiding.

Meanwhile Luxion with an army of AI piloting robots went to massacre everybody friend or foe. Even Nicks (Leon's brother who was actually married to Dorothea in this timeline) is burned to death by Luxion's ship heat ray along with his entire fleet (its not shown but Leon's poor noble friends were also fighting so I suppose Luxion also killed them off screen.

So the last part (and worse of all). Author said "how should I sh*t even more on this story... oh I know, let's retcon Leon and Marie's relationship and kill one of them off".

Leon wakes up, he was saved with the effort of everybody. Instead of cherishing that life Marie and everybody lost so much to protect he decides to go fight a lost fight like a mf. But before that he goes with Marie who's worried sick about him. He talks a lot of crap to confuse her and then tells her "it's like that time when I saved you from those guys trying to pick you up" (or some sh*t like that), Marie says "yeah you were so cool back then..." then she realizes she fell in the trap (that was an anecdote from their past lives).

Then Leon becomes an *sshole. Marie starts crying and he says "Oh I was about to kiss my sister, sorry let's cancel the engagement". He goes to Arroganz to board it then Marie tells him not to go but he says nah "I'll be back exclusively to cancel the engagement". She says "you will never ever find a better woman than me" he says "yeah" and takes off. Marie falls to her knees crying.

Leon goes to one of the least anticlimactic fights ever defeating many AI robots and gets to Luxion.

Luxion confesses he actually didn't want to hurt him or Marie but ends up killing Leon. Before he dies Leon says he "wishes Marie is happy in the end" (mothrf*cker is this a joke? After breaking her heart and basically turning her into a widow that's the first thing he says? Also the author laughing at everybody here I bet).

So Luxion is also fatally wounded. He says Arroganz to go protect Marie (how many more hypocrites are here?)

Arroganz returns in front of an expectant Marie who (surprise surprise) finds its cockpit empty. Arroganz tells her Leon died and his body exploded with Luxion's main body (spaceship). Everybody (who's still alive) goes to celebrate while Marie falls on her hands and knees crying her lungs out.

All in all everybody died except Olivia who survived with s*icidal thoughts out of guilt, Angelica who's traumatized by prince Julius being murdered in front of her and Marie who's heart was broken into million pieces and tossed into the sun looking worse than ever.

She boards Arroganz and wishes "if there is a god all she wants is to repeat this story and meet Leon again, then she would make their happy ending work this time" then leaves.

end.

postcredits scene: Leon appears followes by Luxion. He goes to the school garden where prince Julius is then he sees a petite blonde girl with sky blue eyes. She stares back and asks "what?". Leon says "Nothing" then walks past each other. She goes to where Julius is and he walks towards where he spotted a new girl, Olivia (yeah the author won't let go of this d*mb b*tch like she is some well written female character. What a joke)...

Like I've said before if you will write a route where you will kill everybody with the justification of giving Marie a happy ending at the very least give Marie the f*cking happy ending... otherwise it will be a waste of time...

Also no they aren't siblings anymore. This is some bs. Author got cold feet and bent the knee to puritans by retconning the whole thing at the last minute.

Now about Olivia and Angelica in the main route (Mubuseka) yes they cucked Leon. Confessed to each other then kissed and had s*x. Leon found them, hid and saw the whole thing. Then decided to take the L and leave.

Many things happened after with Leon distancing himself from them not to be a nuisance.

But author said "wait a minute this will make my dear Olivia less relevant in the story gotta make her a harem member somehow".

So Olivia and Angelica decided to confess everything to mr. Cuck-eon then he admitted he didn't want to be a third wheel but they said "let's be your girlfriends but keep our lesbian relationship" he said "okay". So technically they are part of the harem but also f*ck at Leon's back like a good japanese cuck he is.🥴

So yeah it's up to you if you wanna keep reading.

Personally I recommend a better novel called "Ending Maker". It's what the Marie route PRETENDED to be:

Two earthlings (boy and girl) reincarnated in a game, gotta work together to break the game scenarios, seek to achieve the happy ending for everybody, use their game knowledge and help each other, travel together all the time, won't allow others to interfere with or get in between them.

Great fights and the interactions/dialogues between characters is 10/10. Romance at great pacing, no f*cking harem, it's finished and even has bonus chapters after the main story, great world building, lots of phenomenal plot twists and its all in english. All of it. Hope all this helped a bit.

So a few things i gathered from that:

1. Author has brain damage. And writes HARD-NTR, with leon becoming a third wheel cuck, while the lesbian pretend he isn't, but in reality he is. (and there is zero harem, which brings me to point 2).

2. Author never wrote in any route ANY harem, and this is only poly/sharing bullshit. (for those that don't know the difference, harem is where the woman are EXCLUSIVE to the man, i.e. no lesbian relationship shit, at MOST there can be a bit of touching in MFF, but you pull out toys and strap-on then it's sharing/poly, and zero harem).

3. Marie route ends with "random bullshit go" with author yet again doing NTR, but to the fans this time.

4. while you never specificially mentioned it, Anoseka is basically marie route and will end just as shit? (this is a statement, the question is whether or not this statement is correct).

5. I should drop this shit, harder than the author was dropped when they were a baby. (I use sexless terms, cause while you said she? I ain't sure of the authors sex.)

6. I should go catchup on ending maker... which I can confirm is a good read, I just lost my place.

7. Assuming the author is a woman... I have yet to see a female writer actually understand what harem is, and write it well, without some lesbian shit or NTR. (where the man goes cuck and takes them back... don't be like forest gump people you will get aids XD ) the one tiny win, is that they didn't take notes from the after story that mushoku tensei did with the sister (kidnaps the son and grooms him until 11 to do the deed... yup, it went over as well as you'd think, and author still plans to do it... is why I'm never touching that trash ever, author needs to see a shrink cause they have issues).

8. I think I covered everything at this point? I didn't use spoilers cause this is info worth spoiling to save people from that dumpster fire.

I leave you with but one question... is there any chance, in your opinion, that mobseka or more importantly Anoseka, won't follow the trash that is the novels? (i.e. they won't actually NTR MC or do lesbian bullshit and call it harem in mobseka, and anoseka will actually have what was promised in marie route.. i.e. they end up together).

I remember when authors would actually commit to the premise... like Oreimo (never read or watched it personally, I just now there is at least one ending where they end up together).

Now they all do random bullshit go in the last ark and cuck out. (like making them not actually related with sudden retcons... Oreimo to my knowledge only did that in the games).

Too much western influence on japan... removing of wholesome Alabama (and even normal relationships), for some weird cuck fantasy fetish.

Yes, I know NTR as a term comes from japan, but it's a fact west popularised the shit out of it, like japan has laws where you can sue your partner for cheating and most towns will shun them for it... just probably not tokyo or kyoto.

Yeah you are correct with all the points. Most japanese authors don't know how to write harem.

Ironically they are very thoroughly when classifying sh*t like NTR, BSS, netori, etc. (You can see what their priorities are... cough cucks cough).

Angie and Olivia cheating, yes Leon is a cuck. Of course the average Mobuseka fan will be rationalizing it to deny the fact.

About your question, Anoseka is the refined version of the Marie route which was/is extremely popular (even more than mobuseka if you ask me) with the exception the last two chapters didn't even come out and that must be why.

Yes it has some differences. Like romantic events. Which imo will make me hate Anoseka even more than the Marie route if it follows said story in the end.

For example:

Marie route: Leon confesses to Marie after saving her from the forced marriage. It was just a "to escape the stigma of being single, would you marry me?" "Yes".

Anoseka: Leon confesses to Marie at the same point in time "Marie, would you marry me?" "Huh?" "I am serious marry me blah blah" "no, hold on again" "Is that a no?" "No but not a yes" "what do you mean?" "Think about the vibe and place. Do it again in a more romantic way" (Luxion steps in asking) "so you mean if Leon confesses in a romantic place, at the right moment. Would you accept Leon's proposal with 100% certainty?" "Yes" (Luxion again) "okay tell me your conditions for the perfect confession" (Maries proceeds listing the conditions while Luxion takes notes, meanwhile Leon feels relieved Marie accepted his feelings).

(Anoseka is simply more romantic but I suspect this is some bait).

Later on in vol 3 there is a very romantic confession again with a ring involved (I know thanks to the illustrations of vol 3). This is not in the Marie route.

So yes I think this will be very different but the author (she is a woman btw afaik) will most likely retcon it at the end like she did with the Marie route.

How will we know? Simple: in the marie route the black knight is killed by Leon, his brother and father. Anoseka right now is at that part. If the black knight is killed again, that's the sign. Remember this. Because from that point on all the characters die and with them the hopes for a happy ending for Marie.

What i find ironic about BSS, is that you get people arguing that it isn't NTR (hell I assume even some authors do, probably their evidence for believing it too)... when it's literally a sub-genre. but those into it for some reason feel the need to pretend they're not into NTR... like what?

It's like when people try to argue that rape isn't NTR either... they go through so many hoops to justify them being into cuck content.

Meanwhile other authors just go "Fuck it, it's NTR, I ain't bothering with that shit (typically the ones that aren't doing BSS/NTR, and are only using it, in a mocking way).

With your difference, does that mean Anoseka skipped teh whole "saving her from the forced marriage" cause if so, there may be hope that it won't be trash. (just me being in denial). (although Imma rely on your point of black knight).

"Author is female"... Okay, now it makes sense... like call me sexist if you want, but most female authors are fkn shit at writing for men, ESPECIALLY when it comes to harem.

Simple reason: most don't even try to think of what men actually want (this goes for average western woman too btw, cause the culture is to not care about it, can't speak for the rest tho, and doing so would then be kinda sexist, since I'd be truly assuming), what they think is "What would i want? okay man would want the same right?" no... they wouldn't.

Hence why so much NTR and such gets into what should have been a wholesome story, because women are more forgiving of it then men, some are even into it.

Meanwhile on the male side, you are seen as not a man if you take a cheating wife back, cause with it you sell your dignity and balls, meanwhile women, not so much, it'd be more the case of taking back an abusive man for a female equivalent. Since that is what fundamentally violates the male role in a relationship, at a biological level.

Inb4 someone says "men shouldn't shame men for that" (not you of course, but there's always that one idiot or two, hopefully they just react with dumb and move on)
yeah well.. the women never respects him again either, and that is what a man needs to feel loved (and what a woman needs to truly love him)... so who's really worse?
The men (and some women too) shaming him to get him to leave and find a good woman?
Or the people coping and saying he should stay with a woman who will never truly respect him for taking her back?

Since men are wired to seek fidelity, while women are wired to seek a supporter/protector, hence they can more easily (not easily, just more easily) get over cheating from a biological standpoint, while for a man.. it's dead jim.

Back to Anoseka, when will you likely find out if black knight dies? (cause personally I'd rather not go and get invested, and just rely on you to tell me XP )

Yeah I agree with the female authors' view on male characters and there are two kinds in my experience:

1. When she writes shounen/seinen. The mc is typically dense and inept at dealing with women, acting like a man child. BSS predominant against a minor villain or other males.

2. When she writes shoujo/josei. The male lead will act like an arsehole, borderline r*pist or a total womanizer. NTR predominant (where the FMC will even spread her legs to a villain as long as he is hot) with the FMC being a total b*tch presented as an independent woman.

Back to Anoseka. Probably in the next two chapters. Leon and Marie are currently being followed by the Dark knight so we will know relatively soon.

Damn, you summed up things so well.

I recently (well semi-recently like 2-3 months ago), dropped "I'm really not a regressor" cause the main girl agreed to whore herself to a dude for 5 years for money so she could get a thing to fix her eyes and then be with MC (lahgic i know)... of course MC barges in and saves the day, but they treat it like she never agreed to sell herself OUT OF HER OWN FREE WILL, and acts like only the dude is at fault.. when he didn't even force himself or anything... like his crime was being a douche, not anything illegal (unless prostitution is illegal in their law).

O and she never mentions it either... like story didn't have her go "No, leave me alone" it was "I agree..." then MC bursts in. She agreed to cuck him, and sell herself for 5 whole years as a personal whore... to then go an be with MC after...

Like bro, some authors, can't say if that one was a woman, but it was at least a retard.

Had a novel reader tell me about the alt timeline her, who was actually better XD (like the actual regressor tried pursing her, and she rejected him because of MC, in that timeline he helps her get the item no strings attached).

And even up to where they read, she had still not told MC about what she agreed to and how she sold herself.

For the smooth-brains that need it explained: just because MC stopped things, doesn't mean they weren't going to happen, and the choice wasn't already made, e.g. if someone chooses to kill someone, but that chosen victim dies in a car accident, it doesn't change the fact they were going to kill them, that persons heart is still the same either way).

Know that I know about mobseka, I have to say 2nd most recent example XD I ain't reading anymore.

Although, do we find out soon if they're going to do NTR? or is the NTR scene way ahead? (if soon, I might stick around to see if they actually change that moronic trash, if way ahead, too much effort for a brain dead author).

As for anoseka, guess will find out in 2 months (assuming it's a monthly issue).

The NTR takes place around thr first half of the story but it drags a lot till the very end. Even when Angie and Livia are part of Leo's harem, he still feels like a third wheel. Harem apologists would claim that's cool but it's painful to read ngl.

Eveyone seems to have revealing clothing in the Elf Village. Sheryl Laura doesn't seem to be wearing any underwear as seen last chapter.
Yes. And in a world of wooden benches to sit on, that can get really uncomfortable
