So what,it's just gonna be murder attempts over and over again on Alice ? I know it's suposs a conspiracy against Alice but thatmight be over the top. Also i don't see how the yuri gonna play in it as Chun don't seem to have any feelings towards Alice so far. Even more after being forced to do a dangerous job she is not even sure she gonna be paid. Although did Alice's feelings was just a facade too or did she really like Chun ? Because if so, it might be a little stupid to put the one you love on such dangerous duty if your life is threatened at every corner.

@Lilliwyt at the end of the chapter the characters answered some questions, in there it is show that Alice really loves Chun (in a yandere way by how it was said that she answered with a "dangerous speech"), and there would be no need to the author to try to just make her answers a facade since it was said after Alice's true face was revealed. So I think that she really loves Chun, I agree with you that at the state that the things are a good yuri relationship being developed isn't possible, but the author will probably develop their relationship to the point it becomes mutual love. About the murder attempts, I think that they aren't going to be the hole focus, it is a conspiracy to take her throne so it will be probaby be more focused in political battles with some murder attempts here and there just so the job of bodyguard to be completely forgotten. And I agree with you that giving Chun a dangerous job is just a terrible way of thinking since she loves her.

I really wish that Chun isn't going to be just the comic character of the story while Alice is the character that has complete control over the relationship, I really hate when a main character is just completely used and played by the other, I would like to see Chun reacting to the things that Alice is doing to her and sometimes winning for real against her. I mean at the moment she should hate Alice, she is somehow expecting that the one she loves is going to start loving her when she literally is having her as a hostage, putting her to work something as dangerous as a bodyguard for someone who is always being target by the way it seems and without any promise of payment, and I would like to see Chun getting revenge on her for it, nothing that could destroy the yuri plot, but I just want her to react to these mistreats instead of she being mistreated by Alice becoming the comic part of this webtoon. Though it looks like the author is foreshadowing that Chun is going to react with the second condition that we didn't even get to read, so I'm hopeful that the author won't do this.

I actually like that it's consistent with how Chun is treated. If Alice is willing to ruthlessly use blackmail in the first place, it makes sense that she'd also turn down any demands of Chun's. I agree though that that doesn't scream "romance" to me ... maybe the coup will succeed and Alice will have to run away with Chun or something.

I don't feel like love is a good word for this case. Looks more adoration towards chun. If I had to say, I feel like the plot is going to work halfly this time, maybe getting alice and chun to be looked as criminals, then they try yo get everything back to normal. Fairly common rlmance scenario too, so I wouldn't be surprised if things go this way.

Meh, it's common trope in standard chinese story that the top is ruthless, if s/he's not ruthless, it can't be the husband lol. Or at least at bed haha.
Alice made it pretty clear who the attacker is haha.
