@HerculeSSJ There's a lot of work with this manga. The same group does Choujin as well, and there's like 3-4x times more things to do with a chapter of this than with that. Updates will come, just be patient.
@monkey123: does all drama seem forced to you? This seems pretty natural to me. What man wouldn't be jealous if his girlfriend, who freaks out if he even slightly touches her, is perfectly fine with being man-handled by another guy?
@FredFriendly
It's really forced drama. Of course they got no experience in romance but those 2 seem like cavemen. The MC could just tell her straightaway he wants to monopolize his girlfriend and it would be ok. Instead I predict we will get another portion of misunderstandings and crying again.
I'm w/ @FredFriendly here. His prick of jealousy at the beginning of the chapter might have been forced drama, (although given his angsty personality it seems fairly in-character) but getting pissed that the person who seems fairly close to your girlfriend can touch her with no problem when she freaks out when you do is just natural. Any guy who wouldn't get pissed off about that is a fucking saint.
well yeah @GodGinrai I agree this would be any man's normal reaction to some guy who is relatively close to his girlfriend but I assume she is okay with Arata because of her kinda registering him like a sibling or a brother which kinda makes it weird that that idiot needed Minami(Mako-chan) to fucking do something about her creepy cousin
@Tych
Yeah her childhood friend didn't help her in the case of the pervert cousin but then sabotaged the attempted rescue mission of her boyfriend in the pool.
The childhood guy should just go for the sister!
@GodGinrai: I'm glad there's at least one other person who thinks Katagiri's reaction is normal and natural. I did a quick google search for "forced drama" and came up with:
an event is "forced drama" if it is improbable or feels contrived with the sole purpose of creating drama that would not arise naturally from the situation
Katagiri getting pissed in this situation seems pretty natural to me. I'm not Rio's boyfriend, but even I got annoyed that she was perfectly fine being man-handled by servant-boy.
It seems to me that, like the term NTR, "forced drama" gets inappropriately tossed around way too much in these comment sections.
Well, they aren't really considered a couple yet, not to me at least. if you look how she reacts she's pretty much desperate to keep him as her bf but in the same time afraid to voice her opinion and the mc acts tsundere and shouts which makes communication between them rather non-existent.
This is more of a lover's play not real relationship. A girl had been abused for long time finally she sees a light and hope when a knight saves her and she ends up clinging to him, not out of love but out of seeking some comfort, company and while she believes it's actually because she loves him, while the truth is otherwise, it's more of finding a protective charm that can move and speak.
As for the MC he never had self confidence to begin with since the beginning of the manga so pretty much her relationship with that childhood friend, interaction and mentioning her mentioning him can screw their "fake" relationship. tbh thanks to this chapter I already gave up on the MC being in relationship with the young mistress "I stop memorizing names long ago" I am pretty much going for MC x Milf "the lady with a baby that kissed the MC" and childhood friend x young Mistress. Of course unless some drastic changes happens to force me to change my mind, but tbh with the MC's current mentality I don't see the he has any chance for an actual good lover relationship with either the young mistress or the milf. as for the young mistress same thing applies here, that mentality won't help her at all in progressing her relationship with the MC, instead it seems to be opening a path for her to have relationship with her childhood friend, she won't be like she's right now at least, frightened of the MC breaking up with her or angering him. and since the childhood friend seems to know like everything about the young mistress, I don't really see anything for her to hide from him.
That line when the MC said that she was talking about her childhood friend when they chat.... mc can't get rid of the childhood neither irl nor online... seems there's much more to suffer, my condolences mc.
also her jealousy and worries over the milf and the mc relationship... can't check herself before talking "childhood friend", while I won't and can't judge her or the childhood friend yet just because of being to touch each other without a care but in the end I believe the relationships between the characters fks everything.
when young mistress chats with mc on phone she talks about her childhood friend.
when the childhood friend touches her she's okay with it.
when mc gets irrated or angry a bit the young mistress gets scared and stfu while being afraid of the mc breaking up with her.
mc acting tsundere, not being sincere and shouting frightens the young mistress "i expect their to be a scene where he shouts like a madman or something to her and the childhood friend comes to intervene and they end up breaking or almost breaking".
mc lacking self confidence "if insects could talk and the young mistress had an insect friend who's close to her for most of the time he would crush it right away when she's not looking".
young mistress lacking self confidence.
mc is bottling up his feelings.
and if I had to say the young mistress probably trusts her childhood friend more than her bf the mc. "well that's a given I guess"
also her current relationship with both mc and her childhood friend reminds me of the relationship of the Blondie girl, setz and the blue haired boy from Crepuscule.
like how the Blondie girl is supposed to be setz's fiancee yet whenever she's worried about something or in need of help she always ask for the blue haired boy not setz, she even keeps asking setz about him if something happens.
