@FrenzyMode I don't really know either but you would think he's visiting a loved one to the hospital, he probably didn't bring his sister since she's so young and has already experienced the loss of her mother
So I think that's what she also thought and though the I would choose is to try to cheer him up without letting him know that you know, instead of being depressed. I'm not saying she's bad for not doing that it's just what I'd do
Also, she probably doesn't want to pry into his super personal life since that would be nosy and people don't like that
