Not really. Based only on research about human sexuality females are biological bissexual with a strong preference to one or another. It seems that developed because it was needed to keep the tribes from devolving into chaos in the early stages, as the females would pass most of the time by themself with the children, and seem to be the reason why female have such strong in-group preference.
By that and assuming that females are attracted to dominant people, wich is aceptable conclusion but not really an iron rule, by acerting his dominance by force after putting her down verbally he put her in a vunerable state and then changed all the fear and intimidation into attraction with the kiss, something akin to a suspended bridge thing.
That would not work with a male because their sexual attraction works differently.
