Anyone feel like picking up the novel? Seeing how bloody many JP/CN/KR otome things are getting translated all over the damn place the Saga of Paril shouldn't be too bad in comparison.

How many weak willed soyboys and feminists in here don't understand what just happened?

It's clear. He is a good father. Logical.
It's like kicking out a talented child and making them fend for themselves. Her accounting experience has already been passed on most likely, so now he can push her to becoming something more.
It's like when we send officers and enlisted to the same training (in the military), but remove their ranks so that the officers who are serious have confidence that there was no outside help. Something truly earned.

I have a feeling this whole story is going to be AMAZIN, based, and redpilled.

Some of you will never be "nobles", because you think like a peasant/woman.
People think "nobles" are just born into what they have, when in reality, the family worked hard or fought hard for what they have, and now they maintain their earnings through their descendants.
Only after many generations do noble families children forget what it took to be "noble". And only after many generations do peasant families figure out how to become "noble".

Best dad ever. He sees his daughter as the best, and wishes her to be better. See the world, see its people. If she/he can do that, then she wins.

What is this guy doing? As soon as he was denied the "successor" position he should have started to look for some way to leave that place and build his own state. That "going to the hero academy" should be great as it will let him make connections and learn magic that he could use to cut ties with that family. Screw that house, they deserve to fall into ruin anyway.

Being exiled is the best thing that could happen to him, other than having the time to make connections with nobles outside the house before being exiled.

@mahtan he does not want to use magic, fight, learn new things, he just want to command, its sad, but he actually wants the easiest possible way to steal the power of her father and them go back to something close of what he had from his previous life, this is the kind of person he is.
i am surprised that he did not tried to kill her father, sister and stepmother.

That was not what the first chapter indicate for his personality and that is why I'm so disappointed about how the author has been taking the story.
Someone like the character we had in the first chapter is not the person that is lazy or just look for the easy way out and instead someone that will take any opportunity that appears and get his position through his work and it looked like he understood that from the little dialogue he had before being killed.
This could be so much better done if only the author would have the character realizing that all his work so far had been for naught and taking what he still has as an opportunity to make something for himself.
In the first chapter we are given that he is actually a good person that just sees the reality of how the world works, even his "betrayal" of his friend was in order to protect said friend as he knew the women was just trying to get promoted by sleeping with someone of higher position. From the characterization so far he is not "evil" or "selfish" he is just a very competent and logical men.
The way he acted when the father said he would not give him the position of successor is not aligned with how someone that made his way to the top with his own skills would react, it was pathetic and not at all how it should have happened.

If you understand what the father intention and put it on his perceptive and really read the story. You will understand the purpose

Basically with her get exiled. She/He :b will no longer get to deal with noble and political issues. She basically free to do anything included start her own country maybe?

The raw and translated are going nowhere new so far. The last update for the raw was October 21, 2018... And it's already translated.

Update to hiatus?

@chinny23 not really. Paril already has enemy nobles, if she was exiled, it's mean the stupid father can't official help her, and other nobleS will attack her with ease. In reality, many nobles in exiled were killed shortly after they left the house by other noble houses or by the other successors of their former house, unless they run into faraway lands where no people know them. The father can still send Paril to the academy without exile her.

I'm pretty disappointment with this author. always start mangas without ever finishing previous projects. And now, i hope "Silver Plan to Redo" always updated. at least have a good ending (i'm not sure about that)

Sorry... but without the power of a summoner, you can't be granted the title of successor.

For those that actually know that, it's not worth the title.

Wait, so this is really the end?
It really gets me a little angry with the MC because instead of wanting to get the title he should have realized that it was a lost of time and instead take that exile as a good opportunity to make his own family and amass his own power, he already shown that he is more capable than those idiots from her family anyway. Not only is the count throwing away someone with the "goddess blessing" he is also setting his own destruction flag for the family...
Really dislike how the author can't even keep the character he presented to us in the first chapter consistent.

Anyway is this really the end? From now on just the novel?

@mahtan

its not the end for the manga. there is a rebooted version with a different artist (starting all the way back from chapter 1) that should be caught up by now. i heard it was some complications with the previous artist (they may have passed away, not sure).
anyways, check the related manga.
