I always love seeing characters willing to risk everything for freedom, there’s a saying in Spanish that I love “muerto en vida” and I’ve seen it used a lot in people describing abusive relationships, she knows staying is just another form of death. Knowing that whatever happens it will be worth it just because it was her choice.
