Maki freaks out over the possibility of his naked baby/toddler pics being shown to Umi. His mom points out that there's nothing in those kind of pictures she won't see sooner or later. And Umi tries to...borrow them. All of them. And doesn't hesitate to tell Maki. Granted, she relents, but only with extreme reluctance. Maki wisely puts them all in a locked drawer.

The manga pretending they aren't doing what they're doing to keep up the image of a romcom that hasn't reached its conclusion. But many of us want manga that goes beyond that conclusion and into the happy, fluffy stuff, which this is firmly in, so it's not so bad after all.

This was cute. The stuff with the dad still seems awkward and I hope they start or move toward some better space with it. Speaking from experience it can be so weird when your parents decide it's better for everyone involved to split up. I don't know the story behind his family's separation, but I do know now situations like this can make it really hard to feel connected to the parent that you don't live with 24/7. Dad's especially when societally and according to gender roles they've learned to be less emotionally close to their kids in general. It's hope to the MC what kind of relationship he wants with his , but not having any at all and always being awkward isn't ideal

The latest chapter in the series timeline details the obvious: Yuu is desperately in love with Maki and working very hard to keep it supressed. But not nearly hard enough. So, no, no she doesn't. She does get around to apologizing to Seki eventually for not taking his feelings as seriously as she should have, but that's as close as she gets.

With 285 WN chapters in, which is currently around September of their 2nd Year, nope. But she has fallen in love for the first time in her life. Easy guess who's the "lucky" guy. So she's bottling it up because she's indebted to Umi for being with her for majority of her life, and to Maki for helping fix her friendship with Umi.
Nina, who cares for Yuu's happiness (we don't have the full backstory for how this happened) and being the observant gyaru that she is notices though, so is now on what is practically a social suicide mission by openly flirting with Maki in an attempt to force Yuu to open up a bit
