It is good to have male friendships, I think they got the dynamic well. Pretty much every aspect of MCs life has got healthier and a rising tide raises the boats of all the different relationships. Nozomu's former friends getting jelly is kinda lame but shit can happen, good he's not stuck with them and has better relationships to move on to.
