Seriously this is truly peak fluff and sweetness. I especially like it for the fact that the MCs aren’t dumb as a pair of boxes of rocks where their emotions are concerned and are willing to communicate their wants and needs with each other like real people.

Its such a peak manga. Realistic set up, no best girl introduced just to lose, continues after confession, both partners work to support each other.

In the previous chapter he knew Maki got family/dad issues, even did a small pep talk with him about it. He probably just wants to encourage him.
