Trust the plan and enjoy the author of the LN's cooking. t's worth the wait and you'll get plenty of cuteness and sugar.

Thank you for the translation!

Well, she's a great and kind girl, so I also feel a bit sad for her. That's good, but idk why I'm now sad for her as well. 😢
Realisticly speaking, this is not something easy to surpass and could take years (and sometimes therapy)IMO its more, don't hold MC back because she herself is to scared to grow past her own fears. Like she has sorta taken a step by talking to the 2 other girls and seemingly unburned that bridge. But clearly whatever issues she has are still there. And rather than grow and have a character arc, she would rather drag MC back down with her.
I am not saying she should "just get over it". I am saying she should not drag others down with her.R

His dad was not a POS either, both his mother and his father where unable to solve their issues, but I would not call any of them a POSI am not saying she should "just get over it". I am saying she should not drag others down with her.
Also since MC's situation was handled so poorly (like come on the dad was a POS and MC just saying "I am sad you are divorced. why dont u get married again" somehow got the mom and dad back on talking terms) I doubt FMCs stuff will be dealt with much better.
I mean sure the mom isnt perfect either, but even if only it was when tensions got super high, she at least tried to communicate. The flashbacks literally show the dad just walking out and running away from the issue when confronted. He abandoned the family, yet demands time with the same son he left behind. Basically bribes his way to relevancy by paying for the needs of his son and ex-wife. Hes an entitled POS.His dad was not a POS either, both his mother and his father where unable to solve their issues, but I would not call any of them a POS
In the LN, she's a bit more reasonable. She knows that these impulses aren't healthy, thus only texting them to Maki rather than saying them out loud. Maki knows this as well and does not blame her:I get her fear. But come on Maki, don't sabotage my boys character growth like that.
Taken at face value, these messages seemed incredibly clingy, making it look like she wanted to completely tie me down. But because Umi knew deep down that those controlling impulses weren’t healthy, she never actually spoke them aloud, let alone tried to force them on me. (From Bronstl Vol 3 Translation)
