For anyone who doesn't know this manga is an adaptation of the light novel and it's completed (7 volumes). Recently someone started fan translating it and he will be done with volume 4 by december 30th and is probably gonna translate the rest soon after too so if u can't wait for the manga and wanna read more go read his fan TL and show my guy some appreciation u should be able to find his work in the small r/BocchiGal subreddit. As of ch18 u can start reading from v2 c2 but I'd recommend starting from vol 1.

Manga's got 18 translated chapters and she doesn't have anything resembling a personality. And, the MC's affection for her is basically to the extent that she has his type of looks (conventional/possibly timid) and that her presence relieves his loneliness.

It's pretty awful to this point. How much longer will it take?

Je sais pas ce qu ils attendent de ce manga mais c est une romance avec un public ciblé plutot jeune . L histoire essaye d inclure des elements serieux , ce qui apporte de la consistance . Alors oui , le develloppement de aoi comme " ayant une vie dure mais en vrai c est une meuf sympa " c est simpliste . De meme le coté paternaliste du protagoniste qui sauve la fille en detresse . Cependant faudrait apprendre a relativisé . De plus si la façon dont l histoire ne plait pas au gens , qu ils aillent ecrire la leur et arretent de casser les couilles .
C est un angle d approche assez classique pour une romance . Si les gens veulent voir une fille se relevé par elle meme , traversé les galeres pour devenur une femme forte et bah qu ils aillent regarder je sais pas quel kdrama de merde et arretent de faire chier le monde . L autre meuf moralisatrice peut aussi aller se faire foutre
