Seeing Himari fuck over Akane is kinda fun to watch not gonna lie. I don't mind. If Akane is gonna be all passive and unduly tsundere, then Himari can come in and homewreck; I'll root for her plus it's mildly entertaining.

But ultimately I expect it to be Himari pushing Akane until she finally says what she wants, only to hurt herself along the way… which is just as poor of a use of character as what is apparent now. This whole thing with Himari is a bit weird, but Akane needs to be honest with herself, with Himari, and with Saito. Nothing will change if she keeps acting this way and it will make everyone think Himari is just being an opportunist when Akane herself keeps shooting down that she feels literally anything for Saito. To Himari, Akane and Saito are in nothing but a contractual marriage and there are no feelings between them. Akane perpetuates that by saying she feels nothing for him and it is fine that Himari is with him.

I get the hate on Himari, but she is just acting in how she feels about Saito and Akane is NOT stopping her or telling her the truth.

Real talk, Himari deserves the win here. Akane deserves to get cucked if she’s in this position and still fucking lying about her feelings. Himari is doing nothing wrong because everything she’s being told is that it’s not a problem, Akane doesn’t love him she hardly even likes him and it’s all just a political marriage. Our Gyaru deserves happiness and unless the tsundere starts being a lot less tsun and a lot more dere she deserves what realistically would be coming to her

We know that the main cupple are going to win this, so overplaying the FL into going against any possible development until she explodes is getting gritty and tiring to read.

We know that she will call the ML and insinuate that she is lonely so he will ditch the party and go to her. Or that she will be "kidnapped" into attending the party by her grandmother or sister.
