Dorel could've kept going, he only died because Vordein was convinced by Alicia to give Dorel the L.

Did anyone notice that the queen's name is "Toara" and the name of interest that has cropped up is "Toa"? Not saying the queen has anything directly to do with it, but if the name is something that seeped in the culture of these nations it isn't farfetched that her name is inspired by the original but has lost its true meaning.

It is a slightly subtle but very smart way of worldbuilding, one that could have even gone unnoticed with all the shit that has happened in these past chapters.

Dorrel had the death he deserved... a pathetic one, like a fart taken by the wind, I am actually very satisfied with that, I don't think he deserved anything dignified.

Since his introduction, the fucker has been anything if not annoying, he destroyed people's livelihoods, killed his old friend and apprentice, and during all that shit he has been screaming about how people didn't try enough to be free... as he practically enslaved them... there is being a holier-than-thou asshole... and there is being this loser.

I am impressed by the author achieving that, making a satisfying villain to hate is hard enough... but making one that you find pathetic, then giving him an equally pathetic death and making it satisfying is even harder.

Iwahara Yuuji author probably gonna do timeskip for our real MC king growing up. Alicia's fate is going to be sad, hope she gets her salvation (true death) one day when Clevatess releases his bind on her. Maybe she gets a second life instead if author want to write it that way.

Loved this! Clevatess staying in the prison sphere is an interesting decision and people are rightly scared of it. Our heroes found a way to beat the villain without necessarily overpowering him giving a satisfying conclusion without making his master any less threatening.

It's probably a theophoric name (name that contains the name of a god - like how John or Elijah contains the name of YHWH), which suggests that Toa was probably a god of some kind, not another Demon Beast King.

Can't say I'm pleased with the change in direction. This revelation about hidden ancient prophecies controlling the fate of all of humanity and even the Devil Beasts is hokey and cliched. None of it really changes the original themes of man vs nature or the need for an expansion of the habitable zones for humanity. I don't really understand why Clenn became so disillusioned or suddenly attached to Luna for that matter except it was convenient for the plot. The stupid humans doing stupid things for stupid reasons like a book told them to seems pretty inline with his prior assessment. But no, realizing they were manipulated he's suddenly remorseful and pities them? He didn't feel anything for poor helpless Nellie.

I think the line "She was cut twice before the hero's blow" should be "He was cut into two before the hero's blow". This line should talk about Dorel got cut in half by Alicia in previous chapter.

Clenn is putting into practice Clevatess' original plan after he found out Luna's identity. This whole adventure was him trying to put Luna back on the throne of Hiden so he could control the new king as the evil vizier manipulating things behind the throne. Reread Chapter 3 pages 22-24. Nothing to do with pitying the humans.
