I really like Golsho's translation work. Its very much like how much of the scanalators used to do it decades ago with footnotes and post-work explanations for Japanese relevant terms and plot devices. Here, particularly, I like that the "cherry blossom" line was kept and not changed to some analogous English language expression. The fact that the translator doesn't dumb down the translation for "localization" purposes but instead takes the time to explain the cultural meaning behind the literal words spoken is appreciated. I want to understand the culture behind the works not just engage with the story.
