Is there a(n easy) way to download chapters on Mangadex ?
There is an easy way, without having to learn to use an API, but it's a secret, or it would have been "patched" already
If you wanted to know, it only takes 10 minutes of scrolling spam pages in some search engines to find that out. It's hidden in plain sight. If you know about webpage scraping and try to search for it.
Though unless you are manually uploading chapters elsewhere, which is quite rare now, since most manga sites are entirely run and uploaded by bots, there is no real use to downloading the chapters, it's more easy to just use a different site once a serie gets removed from here, there are still few sites with all the chapters which survive by pure ignorance. And with those sites too, you can only search.
Then you may want to save the chapters for safekeeping, but at that point you may be interested in finding the torrents with the entire series, rather than downloading single chapters from dex or other reading sites.
