I wonder if the author's pulling our leg and planning to continue slowing down the pace, making chapters progressively cover less and less time, to the point chapter 50 will just be Aki blinking, and so on. He'll maybe even go as far as trapping the series in some sort of time-asymptote.

Ugh, the worst part is that I can totally fucking see the author doing the blinking thing unironically.
