@GerryCeryBery: Japanese's definition of 'cool' (kana) isn't really the same as the West.
Wherein the West think of 'cool' as akin to being 'awesome', Japanese's 'cool' refers to more of the unflappable attitude that'd react to everything with calm, cold logic....at least on the outside.
Basically if they show any less emotion they'd fall into the deadpan category.
The one where she's surprised that he's putting on her wedding ring, when she's in a full gown. Like, what the fuck did you think all this was? A god damn birthday party?
I know, that they where going for the 'cool beauty' shtick. I just don't feel any of that vibe coming from her or the way she was drawn. Thank you for the explanation nonetheless.
