@Roiya
You're trolling right ? That silver hair guy that could smell that her and the assassin are the same person is the male lead ? You must be joking. This looks definitely like the ML is the emperor. Even if I didn't know she interacts with the emperor 99% of the time, the cover clearly shows she is with the emperor.

You learn something new every day!

That aside, I hope they find that letter... Also, I really love how the artist draws yusi's cunning/shocked expressions!

Ahahah Ahhon finally doing a good job~~

@Akera93 @Roiya
I agree with Akera93 it would be just a waste of time to show us all these interactions with Ahhon if Yugi is the ML.

Thanks for the update. Daily endgame reminder spoilers guys (with slightly new info)
Yugi is endgame (in the novel). So if anyone has issues with the endgame, you better pray the adaptation will have some changes or won't follow it completely.
For new info: Why Anhon lost according to new spoilers. He chose the kingdom over Yesuh.
Now for the second new info, it kinda contradicts or semi makes sense the MTL of the last chapter of the novel. Apparently Yesuh chose Yugi... out of sympathy/pity. I know2x, this has quite a few contradictions but new spoilers have new details. Tough new pill to swallow. Why did I say it makes sense in the MTL of the last chapter? Yesuh's description of Yugi was like an abandoned fox on the rain so there are some evidences that agree to this but earlier spoilers also mention Yugi eventually accompanies her on some of her adventures later on in the main story (I mean, why else would KR consider Yugi as the most popular guy of the series.

@Akera93 @shiirosagi You never know. Maybe this part Ahon had more appearances than Yugi but later we will see more of Yugi. If you know Abandoned Empress, Allendis seemed the to be the ML but then Carsein came then finally Ruvellis. Cover art actually show that Yesu is looking back instead of looking at Ahon, this might actually foreshadow Yesu's endgame not being Ahon and Ahon's unrequited crush on Yesu.

Lmao. Poor Ahhon, he has zero impact on Yesuh's heart xD I do wonder if Yesuh will be moved by his feelings at some point (even if it's just a little). Weirdly enough, even if he's not my bias in the story, I feel kinda sorry for him and his chicken, I bet the little one will suffer if the Emperor gets a broken heart haha (jk).

It's kinda sad because at the beginning I really liked him, I was open to him and I was like "oh, so this is the ML, cool", then we met Yugi, Hahae, etc. and I just lost my interest in Ahhon. I still do like how honest with his feelings the Emperor can be when he's alone, I also recognize that he has some cute and adorable moments, but when u see how he acts in front of Yesuh (he loses his mind and starts acting jealous, he gets dumb, he humiliates her in front of others -even if that's not his intention-, etc.) and everything she can lose just staying by his side, I think he simply loses. Like he's not enough.

And yeah, he's actually not that bad (when he's fluffy and sweet I love him), but what can he give to Yesuh? He can't give her freedom (and that's not something that someone else should give her, that's something she must be able to take whenever she wants, so a partner who can understand that would be better), he can't give her loyalty or love (not in a monogamy relationship at least and not in an open way because every one of his actions has a prize and effect), he doesn't understand her way of living (he tries but he fails still), he can't give her support (not in a relevant way for her at least, Yesuh is not interested in politics or fights inside the harem, she win nothing by that so honestly it's not like she needs the Emperor's support in any way), the only thing he can give her is money, and that's why she's still inside the palace and the only reason she's still by his side; one she gets enough money she'll leave because he can't offer anything more. He's an Emperor who has a huge harem and will always choose his country and palace first, so with all that in mind and with so many guys that we could choose from, he's losing his charm.

Idk, I have mixed feelings haha, I feel like there's no point in shipping these two as a couple anymore, but a part of me (even if they don't end up as the final couple), wants Ahhon to start acting real serious and attractive so he can become some real competition for the ML role. That'd be hella exciting! >U< I also want Hahae to move, too haha. :b

i think it's funny how so many people don't like the emperor to be the ml when he's not actually that bad? he's not like that guy in Beatrice/Duchess of Rosia where the ML is really unlikeable, he's not like a spoiled brat or has a bad personality... it's just that there are other guys who are way better to be the ml ksdjhakdjhsad HAHAHAHAHA i don't know if i'm making sense~

i like this series

I suppose it's... not unthinkable that he is actually capable of smarm-charm when he tries, and that he's just never tried untill now.

Though honestly I'm worried for this girl that his slightly oily pick-up lines are working on her.
