Corrupted account?

After the forum update my original account (TimKH (63c9cc30-a7f8-49cb-9d03-b15e762a7820)) has been apparently corrupted or something similar? I have a password manager, so (I hope) it's not human error on my part.
I tried a few things: restoring my password, reducing the password from 128 to 72 characters and just entering my full password and none of them worked. all of them gave me the same error (Unexpected error when handling authentication request to identity provider). I should probably note that it used "non-standard" characters and if requested i can post it here, since i don't intend to use that account any way except, maybe transferring my reading list.

I've triggered a password reset email, follow the instructions in that.

Passwords over 72char are no longer valid, and need to be reset.

100+ characters is useless.
