Based on flags,
Chinese (Trad) = Hong Kong
Chinese (Simp) = Commies

But I suppose there's no actual difference, both are Chinese.

To my knowledge Traditional Chinese is still in use in the Republic of China (AKA Taiwan) as well as in Hongkong and Macao while Simplified Chinese was introduced in the People's Republic of China (AKA Mainland China). As for what is the difference, Traditional Chinese Characters are rather complex to write when compared to Simplified Chinese characters which still are complex enough, though I am proficient in neither.

cool, thanks. Wonder if the person upstairs knows that. They were looking for a way to see Taiwan manga.
