I've been seeing a few cover images being uploaded that are obviously from Kindle editions. How can I tell? First, they have blue or gray borders which do not appear on the original book editions. Second, when comparing the kindle edition to the original, the kindle edition is clearly different.
My suggestion to uploaders is to make sure the kindle edition covers match the original cover images exactly. The kindle covers that do not match the originals should be "alternate" covers and therefore uploaded as volumes 1.01, 2.01, etc. (use 0s in case there are bunko and other reprint covers).
If there are no other hi-res images other than the kindle covers with the "borders", please use an image editor and cut off the borders before uploading.
