This reminds me of an old famous internet story of a married drag queen. His gf (now wife) was upset about seeing panty hose on the floor and got angry. She assumed he was cheating on her but he confessed to her that it was his. She quickly let go of her anger and went "oh okay." His wife and other women were accepting about him being a drag queen.
