@jasty and they did. You can see that her arm/fingers get though Kanata's right boob and Hinaka's head when she is hugging them.

I think at this point no one believes that Kanata is a boy anymore. Even when they can see Kanata non-holo'd.

@NinjaGoemon With what happened to Kanata in ch 21, he's no longer human (or gradually losing it)anyways.
I was expecting his real body to reflect this recent change, but after the release of this chapter, it doesn't look like anything's changed on that end.
Therefore, I predict once everything's resolved, unlike everyone else returning to their real bodies, Kanata will be stuck in the real world in his holo form, albeit being able to actually interact with it (hoping, anyways, as it would be real lonely otherwise).
