I dl'd an epub file reader app called ReadEra, then dl'd the corresponding epub files from either justlightnovels or jnovels. just be careful of the links since it's full of ads

Right? sometimes if it's a certain type of adblocker you're using, the site won't actually load correctly, so you'll need to disable your adblocker every time you go to the ad filled page. Also, I think they change the mega link every update, so you really have to do it again just to get 1 volume. I'll try to update and see if I can find other sites that automatically gives the mega link

I was just saying it's not like living leisurely is their only interest, or their main goal. It's just something they would like, and it is in conflict with both the means to achieve the resource to do it, and everything else. Thus they view living leisurely in a wistful way, rather than something they actively pursue.

I just wish they stop complaining and embrace their situation. It's just annoying. Imagine a ranking 1 student complaining about not wanting to be ranking 1, but they still study regularly anyway.

They don't have any obligations to do anything. They just do it for themselves. They already have the mean to fulfill their dreams to live leisurely. Even if they are already too unique, they can just stop doing their activity, and eventually it will be more peaceful.
It takes less effort for them to live leisurely compared to other people. So, it's hypocritical of them to wish for peaceful life while taking steps that bring them the opposite way.

To be fair, the two had an agreement on this.

Keigo wanted a low-profile, leisurely life. He is fine with having a modest standard of living, although of course as a stereotypical Japanese, he is not really suited for a life of leasure, and feels a duty to pay back those who have helped him in the past. He intends to keep his status as a lowly g-ranked adventurer in an extraordinary party. Yes, that makes him damned suspicious, especially when he is dumb enough to tell everyone that he is "just a g-ranked party member" unsolicited.

Azusa is a self-professed parasite queen. She wants expensive food, expensive wine, and while not WANTING a high profile, is willing to be the public face of the party if that is what it takes to get said expensive food and wine. Of course, you could say (outside of the publicity thing) a lifestyle around fine dining is pretty leisurely.

So, that is the agreement - Azusa takes the flack, and spends all of her share (and some of his) from the resulting income; Keigo does the heavy lifting behind the scenes, at least until they are financially secure.

I also download (usually) via bit torrent, using the Nyaa site to search. Some JLN versions (with embedded ad pages) can be included in the torrents too though.

Doesn't hurt that I am paying for a JNovel subscription, so can use jncep directly; until I knew what jncep was though, I was waiting on posts like this one:

Which has the LN volume 8 parts 1-9 (part 10 is out as of last tuesday; there hasn't been a new torrent yet though)

All the epubs I have that came via JLN have extra pages added for things like:

Seeing as a wealthy businessman who went to Japan and came back, showcasing his now healthy daughter will prompt media to start investigating. They were spreading the news of the guy's daughter far enough to reach the cult but is somehow lazy in knowing how.

Their auction site has been going on for months after Aisha and nobody seems to have a clue that the site exists. They're selling orbs at a guarantee at this point so it should generate more buzz on the internet.

The next event in the timeline has, almost as a side issue, an employee of "Media 24" who is going to try and sneak up on D-Powers with a videocamera; they knew about the orb auction, but because the JDA refused to disclose the seller, buyers, or any info on the auctions themselves, the main reporters are reluctant to try and "break" the story as they literally have nothing to go on other than what is written on the site itself. Mind you, their producer has managed to obtain the personal details on Miyoshi that the JDA are hiding. Needless to say, if the world's top spies aren't able to sneak up on D-Powers without being Arthured, a random media muckraker isn't going to have much more luck...

Spoiler: And behind the scenes (again, medium spoilers)

The cult mentioned in Ch 34 of the manga are behind the media muckraker, and have also used bribery, private investigators and even a "black ops" mercenary group to try and find out how D-Powers obtain Super Recovery orbs
