Eh, depends. I for one enjoyed meeting her mom and seeing her in girly clothes showing off her...plot armor.
Other than that....yeah, pretty much just setting things up for MC becoming her unwilling (or willing) next fiance and her gaining confidence in being herself which could have been done in less chapters.

I kinda appreciate Latos taking things into her own hands once she calmed down and actually figured some of her own shit out. Like...she's troubled, but she isn't a damsel. Seizing initiative is important.
