when the siblings were introduced it was clear they were all representatives of the seven deadly sins
Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth were easily represented and the two left out are either Pride or Greed. so the real personality of Jilbagaias's would have been Wrath. and from the perspective of wrath the human reborn in him is far angrier then he could ever be so it makes complete sense why he would think over all that the 'human' has done and be in full support
I think Rubyfia liked to collect weapons as treasures so she should be greed, so Aiogeas should be pride which suits him being the eldest. On a side note I never could figure out what gemstone Aiogeas and Jilbageas were supposed to be... Maybe our MC is supposed to be "silver" even though all the other kids are gemstones?

Huh the real prince was weirdly respectable rip him i suppose.
the manga probably followed the philosophy that life makes the person. The demon prince, having the shared memory of the reincarnator, has, by proxy, lived through every moments of the hero's life, experienced all of his happiness and sorrow and saw through all of his decisions big and small... It's no wonder he ended up very aligned with his goal.

If his Deadly sin is Wrath it does make sense why he is fine to leave the control to Alexander.
he must have felt that wrath and hatred in Alexander and did feel how UNFAIR the demonkind is to the other races in that realm.
like feel Alexander being disgusted by the torture chamber that is used for shit and giggles.
He might not agree with Alexander... but at least he understands him. leaving the control to him... to enjoy the wrath of Alexander's.

but that is just a theory so far.

I don't understand why did they need to seal Alexander after sealing the saintess elf.
I might not be remembering this properly but this whole situation seemed different in the novel.

He needs to seal himself because he is using Taboo to save her. When he uses Ante's power to create a new Taboo, in this case it's something like having your original personality is not allowed. They had to use powerful Taboo magic instead of normal Domination spell because they were afraid the latter wouldn't remove any curses or brainwashing the dark elves might have installed in the Saintess as contingencies.

But Taboo not that convenient, its imposed on the caster as well. Even Ante will be affected if she casts the magic herself directly instead of the MC doing it.

The part that seems different is I think Demon Prince Jibalgias was supposed to be a temporary personality born in that place. It's the same thing as making the Saintess think shes a dog. It's not like she had a dog personality hiding inside beforehand. That's why "Alex" is confident that "Jibalgias" will do his job and take her out of that place properly, because he's a construct.

Though maybe the manga is spoiling a revelation that comes later in the novel, I might not have read far enough. The manga has already changed the order of many elements of the plot. Ante was worried in both versions about what "Jibalgias" might do and had the same countermeasures.
