I think Rubyfia liked to collect weapons as treasures so she should be greed, so Aiogeas should be pride which suits him being the eldest. On a side note I never could figure out what gemstone Aiogeas and Jilbageas were supposed to be... Maybe our MC is supposed to be "silver" even though all the other kids are gemstones?

Diagias - Diamond
Emergias - Emerald
Spinezia - Spinel
Topazia - Topaz
Jilbagias - Zircon(ium)?

Aiogias and Jilbagias are quite hard to figure out, these guesses are what comes up if you put the first part of their names (in katakana) on jisho and look for gemstones in the results, with the latter being Zircon because of the way katakana maps to romaji.
So maybe he should be Zirbagias instead? No opinions either way here, all the names are rather unusual to say the least.

Assuming your theory is correct, Jilbagias may link to (cubic) zirconia, the most commonly used material to imitate diamond. So he'd be a fake gem, appropriately.

Apparently the author confirmed that MC is "silver", as it is a "demon slaying metal".

That's interesting. I often see artists use stylized English, but this is new to me.

I wanted to check out the JP raws to see if that's what they had (I don't know what source LHTranslation usually uses) but it was paywalled. Though, in a way, it's kinda cool like how western fiction sometimes have latin as the magical language, so east asian fiction using a form of Chinese for mystic scripts or tongues is logical in this sense.

Well I guess the question I had about the paradoxical nature of the real demon prince's ego was... huh... acknowledged?

It's an idea I don't see explored enough. I've seen several titles explore what would happen if someone's ego reincarnates into another person's body as an adult, and the clash or cooperation of control that could rise from two opposing personalities. But when they reincarnate as babies, I think its rarely ever acknowledged! Most people just say an original ego never existing or the baby would have been a stillbirth.

Oh cool, so silver was right. Demon slaying metal as the reason though? I had assumed it was to follow his parents (platinum platyfia and gold goldgeas).

The current demon lord's children are fighting to see who will become the next demon lord. Alexander's revenge plan requires him to win the fight for succession, inside Jilbagias's body. And he's made decent progress toward that goal already. If the real Jilbagias wanted to take over, the sensible course of action would be to play along, let Alex beat his rivals and take over as the next demon lord, and only then would he begin fighting for control of the body. That's what I would do, anyhow.

Clearly he'd be Realbagias, no? (assuming "jil" is pronounced "jeel" since that's how jp pronunciation usually works iirc?)

when the siblings were introduced it was clear they were all representatives of the seven deadly sins
Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth were easily represented and the two left out are either Pride or Greed. so the real personality of Jilbagaias's would have been Wrath. and from the perspective of wrath the human reborn in him is far angrier then he could ever be so it makes complete sense why he would think over all that the 'human' has done and be in full support

Oh, neat, I hadn't even considered that but it totally makes sense!
