so i started reading the novel after the manga got axed and i still wanted to know what happens. im overall enjoying it but i have a few complaints main the translation is lacking on the proofreading side commonly confusing enemy and allied elves in sentences, broken sentence structure, accidentally saying the opposite of what a sentence is supposed to convey, the absolute refusal to use quotation marks so i neven know whos talking or whos thinking are relatively common mistakes ive been seeing but i can tolerate that. what i cant tolerate is the 'ALAS' spam every couple of sentences! man its grating! i can only assume this is a weird translator quirk unlike but even the author has their own annoying quirk of MC directly addressing the audience in the first line of every chapter its easy to ignore since its always the first line but dear author: why?

either way just wanted to make this topic so i could vent that
