Saw people theorizing whether Haruki is adopted. But

this seems to contradict Uzuki's comment that Haruki looks like their dad while Yayoi looks like their mom(except her chest) and Satsuki looks like a younger Mutsuki. A supporting factor though is that the sisters' names come from the traditional name of the months(Mutsuki = January,Yayoi = March) but Haruki's name comes from the season(Haru = Spring) instead of Kisaragi/February( although most likely due to it being more common for girls). A possible way I can think of would be that Haruki was the dad's son from a previous marriage while Mutsuki and Yayoi is from the mom's previous marriage(hence the romance implications) while Uzuki and Satsuki were born a few years after the mom and dad got married(hence why Satsuki is also quite similar to Haruki while looking like Mutsuki). Another take is that Haruki was adopted from a close relative (dad's siblings or cousins) hence the similarity in his looks to his dad (gene from his grandparents from his father's side maybe?). Perhaps I'm thinking this too much though but that's the gist of theories I thought might be possible if he really was adopted.

I would find it a coincidence if it was just one or even two of these names, but all four names being from the IJN Mutsuki-class destroyers, my curiosity has been piqued. At the very least, it's not the artist for the Mutsuki-class destroyers in the game. I wonder...now I'm gonna have to read this and see if they have the characteristics like they do in the game lol

@DizzyMiko the girls' name are based on the older traditional Japanese name of the months. It's just a coincidence that the IJN decided to name their Mutsuki-class destroyers based on the traditional names back then. On another note, I used to play KC myself back in 2014 up until 2016 when I quit playing it. Nowadays I play Azur Lane instead.
