I can't be the only one who keeps cringing whenever A-ko's name keeps being butchered into "A Co-Classmate" just for the sake of a joke that's not really funny in the first place.
@Geako, I apologize beforehand for the harsh words that will follow; I wish I knew how to phrase my criticism more politely without losing the full import of how bad the current status quo is, but I've long resolved to pick blunt honesty over compromising my own argument for the sake of "being considerate" (you can thank my surrounding society's excessive obsession with "considerateness" to the point of wilfully undermining their own moral integrity for that).
"Co-Classmate" is painfully redundant to the point of looking stupid; a classmate already shares a class with you, tacking on "co-" to it is just like saying "pan-global", "mono-singular", or "pre-antecedent". And repeatedly referring to her as "A Co-Classmate" just makes the sentences look dumb; I assure you, there will come a time when you will find a chapter where it's practically impossible to maintain this joke-translation of yours without making yourself the laughingstock of everyone who reads it.
I greatly respect the effort you put into providing these colorized translations, but this is the one thing where that respect completely stops and inverts into
disrespect. I've been holding my tongue for a long time on this subject because I didn't want to scare you off this series, hoping that maybe you'll drop this joke translation on your own, but I can't keep silent anymore.
And to anyone else who is even thinking of slapping an

or ❌ reaction and then silently move on, as if it somehow conclusively "disproves" my arguments... You could at least have the maturity and moral decency to put forth your counter-argument in reply, otherwise you just look like a stubborn child going "Nuh-uh, I'm right because I said so!"
