Maybe I'm missing something, but Seira is a tsundere? Is that a mistranslation or something? When has Seira ever pretended to not like him or be cold towards him? And her feelings on the inside aren't affectionate like a tsundere, they are obsessive. If anything she is the opposite of a tsundere, warm and affectionate on the outside while internally she's an obsessive, jealous control freak.

Also, the "it's not like I like you or anything" feels completely out of place and out of character.

but I think Masato using the term initially is him still misunderstanding the situation he's in where Seira's concerned.
And because Seira loves him so much and effectively sees this turn of events as a potential path of "salvation" (being with him for real), she's going with what he said and trying to "be" that version of Seira, so that she can actually reach the state of mind wherein she can be with Masato on a way that won't freak him out and scare him off.

But she's still a yandere, and Masato's still ...well, clueless in the ways that are critical to him continuing to exist in this setting.

Holy cop out, Batman! Did the situation just completely defuse itself without any characters actually growing or changing in any significant way? Partway through the chapter, I at least thought this could be building to a (doomed) love confession scene, but nothing meaningful happened at all! Seira is right back to simping for Masato, and Masato is right back to ambiguously friendzoning her, like everyone else? Am I reading this right?!

I guess it's my fault for expecting that a romcom author would willingly disrupt the status quo. 🤦 I've lost a lot of faith that the author plans to do anything interesting within a reasonable time frame.
