This MC, as of page 35, has successfully made a first impression; he is so utterly unintelligent that I am shocked he has not been either assassinated (since it seems that murder is just a casual thing, what the fuck), or locked up.
I mean, since killing people is evidently just... no big deal in this society, it's odd that he hasn't already been removed from society in some way.

Dude doesn't know to wash his face before leaving the house, much less before appearing at a formal function; he is plainly not smart enough to attend any kind of school, much less a "magic skool" of some kind!

It certainly doesn't help that he is intentionally acting like a complete piece of shit ("paying taxes, and jerking to lesbos is the duty of every Japanese citizen!" He literally should've been removed from the event after that line), and the fact that he thinks he is somehow being... clever?
And he meets an elf, who he says may kill him on sight, and he does what?
Full-body flinch from a handshake, calls her a straight-up pervert, and then IGNORES EVERYTHING SHE SAYS... even though he may DIE?!

Upon revisiting this chapter, I think my comment was far too kind.
