Thats the problem with these stories, he isnt that happy because hes a gyaru, hes happy because he is constantly in the presence of girls, poor guy just wanted some girl friends :angery:
Did you even read the last chapter? It's clear that acting girly is starting to be a source of happiness for Jun, as proven by choosing the skimpy bikini over the rash guard despite there being zero social pressure to do so.

Please don't be bait. Please don't be bait. Please don't be bait. Please don't be bait.

Also kind of disappointed with that symmetrical docking. They're barely pressing against each other!

Welp, the brainwashing/Stockholm syndrome is starting to become super engrained now.
Either that, or he's subconsciously realized that the girl form is what allowed him to be more outgoing, and he's worried that will stop once he changes back. Old habits die hard, after all, especially for introverts.

Who keeps removing the GL and romance tags? this is a yuri romcom, I keep seeing MD turning into a warzone on tags, and it is really annoying when a rando that doesn't like a manga keeps changing the tags just so people don't read it. Md needs to ban those people.

Does MC think gay people DON'T exist???????? :shamihuh:

No fucking wonder there hasn't been ANY SORT of romance or yuri in this series after 24 fucking chapters LMAO :lul:
In my experience a lot of Gender Identity fiction and Gender Bend Comedy type fiction tend to exist in this weird zone of just having characters not conceptualize what being Homosexual or Bisexual is despite also being outright set in an era where being homosexual or bisexual is like commonly available knowledge top the point that pretty much everyone knows it's a thing and people are just okay being openly one of those things.

It's really quite strange as a plot point that a character can just not know that these things exist and are acceptable things and this isn't the only one I've found that does this.

Is it really that strange to link one's sexuality to one's gender identity? Most men are attracted to women and most women are attracted to men. It's a belief/streotype that's far more justified than any other gender streotype, like men liking video games or women liking fashion. The character might of gay/bi people but that knowledge is something that stays in background until magical genderbender shenanigans and/or yuri/yaoi romcom plot points pull them into the foreground.

When they're like our main character and still pretty blatantly showcase and experience attraction towards women yes it's quite strange. Then again our protagonist is also a weirdo who immediately imagines herself getting plowed the second a man so much as touched her in an unwanted and inappropriate way so Jun clearly just has strange thoughts in general.

I feel like it's actually pretty realistic. Having the body change doesn't immediately make everyone comfortable with identifying it. Even people who want to transition can have trouble self affirming that they are women (or men or NB, I'm defaulting to what's in this one). It also can be difficult to recognize that one is, as in this probably, a gay woman instead of a straight man.

Internalized hetero- & cis- normativy is hard to overcome. Denial about one's gender and sometimes internalized transphobia (and/or homophobia) are also really difficult to overcome.

If I remember correctly, internalized transphobia is the 2nd worst risk factor for suicidal thoughts, if it's not 2nd, it's at least one of the top 4.

Like imagine someone who tries to believe so much that they are a cis man that they use a screen name as stupid as like... IDK, 'GuyDudeman' or something similar.
Then imagine this person does start transitioning, but due to anxiety says she's 'sapphic' instead of just saying she's a lesbian.
It really sucks...... I'm told
