I never understand when it is an adult that has been transferred, going on about the 'mind of an adult'.I never really took her as an idiot but when you think about it, it has to suck to suddenly be transferred to another world where their education is vastly different from your own.
Instead of just taking his help and be in his debt/hurt her own pride, she wanted to turn it into an exchange where she did half of his school work in exchange for his study help. But he rejected that and then she took 5 seconds to realize that because he is rich and powerful, there is nothing else she can offer up, so she just took his help.Did she try to make some kind of bribery, but reluctant because he is super rich? Cute.
Thank you for the update!
Thing is, it's the other way around. Lady Elena suddenly woke to memories of her previous life which from her perspective would be more distant. She already knows everything about that world that she should at that point. The writing does try to justify it as her efforts to change her personality came at the expense of her previous excellence in studing. YMMV on how believable a justification that is.The villainess has met an ultimate evil...
Studying!
But yes, being transferred to another world and then having to study stuff you never knew about, not so easy. Because you also need to know everything that came before what you're studying right now
She does have have Elena's memories. At no point does she have to be introduced to characters or concepts that normal Elena would already be aware of.Assuming she didn't inherit the original Elena's memories, she's basically having to catch up on a life's worth of education on multiple subjects, history at the least, which would have no overlap with her past-life education.
Thanks for the chapter!
Yeah, you're right, I've read too many 'reborn as villain' manga and sometimes they jumble together. She does have have Elena's memories. At no point does she have to be introduced to characters or concepts that normal Elena would already be aware of.
