I've been alerted and able to identify a few people by their smell when they are around me

You see I thought for a second I was a bit creepy, but It's just instinct. For example I associate people by their perfumes and I know if someone hugs me from behind I easily can recognize their scent. Also even if their person doesn't wear perfume their body has a scent that can also be related to their family.

I don't tell people about this because it triggers the "creepy" response. My nose isn't as sensitive as yours and I can only recognize some people and catch scents of shampoos and perfumes farther and frequently than others but nothing really worth bragging
