I am referring to this version here, which was supposed to be the "plotsy" version without the hentai.

From the looks of it, the author got bored of the plot and wants to go back to the hentai version.

I'd argue that version was more "plotsy" than this one we have now.

It's a shame. I don't have an issue if the author wants to just draw hentai, and usually I am quite sympathetic of author's intent. But in this case there was a clear 180 and it's contrasted with even the pre-serialization, which feels a bit backwards.

I don't believe they were saying that he doesn't have editors, it's that he isn't at the mercy of them. As seen in his message where he announces the retcons, he basically just annoyed his editor until he got his way.

What he needs is an editor that knows how to tell him no, and if he continues to press for stupid shit, will beat him with a wrench.

Well that should be the last nail in the agawa x gotou love story coffin. To be honest the author has made agawa so unlikable it would be annoyed if he dose end up with her. There has been no exploration of her backstory at all like why is she the way she is what's her family life like it's said her dad has messed it up so how?

At this point Agawa is straight up the antagonist of the manga.

Authors all over the place since the timeliness change.

MC doesn't seem to be doing anything to either be with Agawa or stay away and finish his education.

Agawa seems to be playing chaotic evil. Jealous of MC either Akito but not interested enough to make him hers only. Corrupting Akito just for fun. Seriously thought she was going to teach Akito about sex.

Akito seems to be here for no reason.. while she seems to love MC author doesn't seem to want to make that an interesting main story beat.

This is off the rails and the story just gets messier with each chapter. The art also seems to be going down hill as well.

Maybe the hentai story was the best plot and author doesn't know how to make it work outside of an adult version.

The story has lost the plot a long time ago. Not sure what we are doing at this point. I can kind of see where the author is trying to tell this story now but so far it isn’t landing very well.

What truly astounds me though is that this dumpster fire with terrible writing and art that even did a retcon after the author admitted he didn't know how to make the story interesting (and it's still not interesting) is apparently selling well. Meanwhile, Love Bullet, which has none of those problems, is struggling to stay alive.

The world is certainly unfair.
