I feel like alot of guys are conflating Agawa's confusion with Gotou's behaviour with jealousy when she really is just confused lol - maybe since she's currently sexually unsatisfied and had Gotou he brought up as the solution to that. Gotou before summer was a chilled out and seemingly introverted guy who largely kept to himself and now suddenly he has all this bravado and two girls around his arms immediately asking to fuck first thing like alot of Agawa's other fuckbuddies.

The change in behaviour is probably jarring her rather than her being jealous that he's fucking other girls since there isn't really any indication that she seems jealous or outright upset. Meanwhile, Gotou is drawn literally forcing smiles and acting very exaggerated (such as when he asks Akito what's wrong with a weird expression on his face leading her to get nervous and say nothing is wrong). His behaviour is clearly meant to be portrayed as unnatural/weird so Agawa is probably picking up on that.

I feel alot of guys are projecting that she's feeling broken hearted about Gotou getting to fuck more girls and next chapter will be more so about her questioning his weird behaviour rather than outright admonishing or complaining about it.

I mostly agree but I think there's a hint of jealously. Gotou is obviously feeling himself and is trying extremely hard to look "confident" which makes him look weird and pathetic when you notice it. He's clearly getting cocky after both doing well educationally and "defeating" a rival so he thinks that he has the charisma to charm Agawa into sex.

However, Agawa did sheepishly approach him and the prior chapter was all about how she was feeling unfulfilled so there's evidence that she does want him. I think it depends on how badly/well their sex goes. The most likely route is that Agawa finds the sex "good" but is still disappointed as Gotou "changed" as that both develops her feelings towards him while also giving him a knock in his confidence which will allow him to grow further.

I think this would be a bad development for her character, because she was the one who influencied him to have more partners. Simply losing interest because he no longer treats her as unique when she did the same to him before wouldn't make much sense. It would be entirely her fault.

Since she's never had a real boyfriend before, i think she'll realize it was a mistake not to priorize the person who really liked her and start the turning point from there. Unlike before when her sister stole the people she liked, now she was the one who caused this.

The problem with the mask/persona that Gotou has built for himself is that it has a very shaky foundation and can easily be cracked. (No wonder the entire thing comes out as just creepy)

As expected, Agawa seems to not buy Gotou's new persona, but instead can see through his bs. This villain arc may not last this much.

You are right, I had a feeling to that Takeda starts to slowly prepare for the last arc. So probably we will have 2-3 more. More then that would be stretching the story to much in my opinion. Now the story has a good fundamental for Agawa „growth“ or development arc. From a total downgrade (as of the last arc) to a …?! But it’s still sketchy what his intention with Gotou is. Hope that will resolve in the next chapters and not hold long.
