Yeah I was pretty disappointed at first when I read it, considering how much Takeda Super built her up over this arc, it’d be a shame if she exited stage right as she seemed to do at the end. However, to his credit, no pivotal character in this manga has completely disappeared from the plot so far, and clearly there’s some unfinished business there.
I don’t think things between Shigemi and Gotou are just done like that. We don’t even know if he can get hard to Akito or Shiina now, or how he’s going to convince Agawa to give him another chance.

Have a feeling this story is gonna go back on the romance tracks (risky,move bc this was just a sexcom), but only because it fell off in the table of contents and editor told Super to finish it. Maybe the next arc is about Agawa not hiding to Shigemi her statement about being bored with guys wasn't actually true and she was holding a grudge against Gotou for his previous personality shift and fuckups, and she'll keep giving the cold shoulder and fuck other well known guy simply to take Gotou out of her head 'till she reaches the old ugly bastard as a desperate last resort to strip Gotou out of her head and uterus, and fail.

Maybe the old ugly bastard teacher is where she'll reach rock bottom and accept that pathetic truth 'till she and Gotou get expelled from the school because of the already known climax from the doujin.

We will for sure get a confrontation in the next chapters. Only question is which one first: Kume and Agawa or Agawa and Gotou.
IMO Agawa saw and heard what they talked about and did together. I can see that she will go to Yuki or Inuaki to get the frustration out of her head. Going afterwards to Gotou and holding it up to his nose how good the person she choose was in order to make him jealous, so that he will beg for another chance with her.
LOL in the end it sounds like a gameplan how to trick Gotou to her favour, if she really craved for him during her watchparty of Kume and Gotou.

Every single stupid mistake he made started with Agawa making a stupid comment.
Him getting with other girls, Agawa instigated it.
Him and Akito going into a sexual relationship, Agawa purposely provoking Akito due to jealousy.
The threesome with President.....was on him ngl, but instead of being real with him about it she just goes back to slutting it up.

Gotou has to be the unluckiest, luckiest bastard ever. Shige got to have her way with him and then just left, which is honestly kind of awesome in its own twisted way. But at the same time, we just learned that Gotou is still in love with Agawa-san. That isn’t shocking at all, but it would be so much better if she weren’t the main girl in the series anymore. That’s just my opinion, though.

Story is beyond trash and Agawa is an afterthought. You can remove her from this story and replace her with anyone else and nothing will change

I think the main issue is of Gotou being dishonest, he says he loves everyone but he only actually loves Agawa but enjoys sex with other girls but frames it in a more noble way than it actually is. While Shiina is certainly enjoying things, Akito herself said she wanted more and fought against Agawa for Gotou's affection only to end up sharing Gotou in the end anyway which I imagine isn't her ideal scenario which Gotou probably already knows but prioritises having threesomes instead.

I imagine he would chill if Akito told him she overtly doesn't like it but anyone with half a brain (Gotou) should be able to tell but uses the fact she seems fine with it to keep going. Gotou did this before in the threesome where Agawa was obviously not completely comfortable with it (whether it was because she was sharing Gotou or having a threesome with her half sibling) yet Gotou in the end prioritised the threesome in the end showing Gotou will default to his lust. If he was more honest that he is just horny and wants to have sex like Inukai (something he himself acknowledges when he cucks inukai) then I doubt there would be any particular issues with Gotou but since he makes up cope about loving all the girls it ends up showing him in a bad light.

It’s not like that’s something I’d prefer to see happen, but it’s pretty obvious to me that they’re going to have to have some kind of interaction along those lines. Though unless the manga’s ending soon I don’t really see that going anywhere really.

The point Shigemi’s making is that he can’t fully “love everyone” because he’s still only obsessed with Agawa who he’s been dying to have a romantic relationship with since the start of the manga; and frames all sexual relationships through her.

It’s not that he “doesn’t care” about Shiina and Akito, he just doesn’t really love them regardless of their feelings. Sure he definitely WAS sexually attracted to them, but beyond that it is basically guilt that drives his lingering attachment to either of them without the sex. Remember he’s with Akito because he believes she’ll either die alone or become a ruined slut like Agawa without him, and merely feels like he owes Shiina for helping him out so genuinely.

Just have them be in a open relationship and drop the stupid drama already.

Gotou’s basically already in one and doesn’t actually want it and it ain’t working for him, clearly. Not that Agawa would agree to it either.
